Step it Up nominated for Mobile Innovation

Step it Up Scotland, Living it Up's fantastic new app, has been nominated as one of the Digital Leaders Finalists – for Mobile Innovation of the Year!

Step it Up Scotland

Free, engaging and easy-to-use, Step it Up Scotland is a health and well-being app that encourages users to get out and about and get active. It uses the step counter in a mobile phone to track your steps - steps that can then be added to one of Living it Up's Community Challenges, inspiring a terrific sense of motivation, collaboration and achievement among users.

We recently caught up with Thomas Buchendorfer, our Technical Architect, to find out how the idea evolved. The app's simple, smart design makes it the perfect entry-level fitness app, ideal for even the least tech-savvy user.

DL100 nomination

Yesterday, Digital Leaders announced Step it Up Scotland as one of the finalists who make up the DL100 list for 2017 and opened the public vote. The independent list recognises 100 people and organisations across the UK who are leading the way in digital transformation in all sectors.
